Sometimes I want to check measurements on a finished simulation part, as confirmation I haven't screwed up anything in my operations settings.
I cannot do that directly in the simulation because as soon as I try to bring up the measure tool, the simulation window closes.
So I export the finished simulation "part" as an STL which is the only option available, then import it into a part file to take measurements.
However, I cannot even measure a circle or an arc because the STL is just a bunch of small lines that make up the shape.
Is it possible to add an option to generate a "cad accuracy" part (like an ipt or a step file) from the finished simulation ??
