strange, indeed.  Would you be willing to share the model so that we can take a look at it?

Thanks. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I can download this. I think you have to check "allow download" in the share command.

Thanks, I was able to get the file. Not sure why it didn't work the first time...

I don't see the same strange preview that you show. Did you change any settings for the mesh?

I'll keep investigating

No it was the default setting.

I just tested the same in my Laptop (PC) and it looks good.

Strange the problem occured in my Workstation (PC).

Could this be a graphic problem?

It could be a graphics problem. You could try updating the driver on your workstation. What graphics hardware do you have on the workstation?

Hi there, I'm just very curious about your part. It looks like a distributor cap or pressure dome or maybe a Dalek head? 🙂 What is it?

It's a part of a microwave antenna.

Sorry I don't know what "whip" means.

This is just the cooling frame, inside it will be a butterfly antenna.

Hi, I got this problem again.

Saved and closed the object. Open and then made the mesh, then it was ok!

Sorry but I can't find out what type of graphic card, only some type of Intel card.
