Why is one team hub is blank?

rajdude

I belong to a few Fusion 360 teams. One of them team's online hub always comes up as blank right side pane. See screenshot attached.

I do have access to the various projects on the left side. I am also an admin for these teams. If I click on the left side, I can access these projects and drill down into the folders inside them just fine.

Inside the desktop F360 application, I can access these projects and edit them just fine.

Other members of the team are also unable to see these projects.

I have checked the permissions. They seem to be OK.

Any solution?

-Raj

Hi @rajdude, thanks for posting.

Did you try to log in but with the browser in incognito mode? Are you able to open a project from the left panel or from the Activity tab in the top-right corner? If you are able to open the projects go back to the Home tab and check if the projects are visible.

I would also check what will happen after leaving this team and get back to it. Please check the screenshot below:

I think also that the owner of the hub could try to change the permissions for one member just for some tests and then switch them back.

If my answer helped you, please click Accept Solution. Thanks!

Hi @Rafal.Chlod Rafat,

Thanks for your reply.

I just tried logging in the hub in incognito mode. Same result.

In the past, I have also tried clearing cookies and history.

I just tried a different web browser (Edge) ...same result.

I cannot leave the team because I created it (I am the owner).

I did try changing some permissions, as a test, it does not make any difference.

By the way, this problem started after we:

1. installed the desktop connector

and

2. found out that folder level permissions type folder is not supported by desktop connector

and

3. we tried to make new projects, one for each team member to keep his own CAD files (to prevent others editing them, but be able to view them)

4. tried deleting the old individuals folder and was unable to.

Now when I click on that folder, I see this error (screenshot attached)

Thanks @rajdude for the answer.

You mentioned that the issue occurred after the Desktop Connector installation. Please try to turn it off (right-click on the Desktop Connector icon) and then check your hub.

When it comes to the "You don't have required permissions..." notification it may be related to the deletion of some folders. The previous version(s) of the file could have an association with the Archived Project in which it was created and transferred from. Please try to unarchive the original Project.

@Rafal.Chlod  thanks for more input 🙂

I tried exiting out of the connector. That did not make any difference.

It surely is some sort of permissions issue.

Here is an interesting observation:

One of the team members told me that he cannot see any projects/folders (other than his own) in Fusion 360 app. However, he is able to see those projects/folders in his F360 app on his iPhone! He is also able to view other team members' CAD.

And yes, I had deleted an empty project earlier. I just tried to undelete it (from the archive) . It now shows up as a blank project. However, that did not make any difference 😞

Hi @Rafal.Chlod  or anyone else...

Is there a solution to this problem?

Many of our team members are unable to use Fusion 360 properly because of this issue.

If this team is messed up, is is possible to create a new team and migrate all content to that?

(Last time we tried to migrate content, that resulted in lots of broken references type errors)

Hi @rajdude, my apologies for the long response time.

Did you try the following:

  • Clear the cache and cookies for the Internet browser.
  • Use a different Internet browser.
  • Try to perform a clean installation of Fusion 360 according to the steps from this article.

If the issue will still occur, please collect and share the .har file from your browser according to the step below:

  1. Open your hub.
  2. Right-click and choose Inspect.
  3. Open the Network tab in the opened panel.
  4. Refresh the page with Ctrl+R.
  5. Click Export HAR (little grey/black arrow icon).

@Rafal.ChlodSorry for the delay in replying.

I tried all the things you recommended...unfortunately, nothing helps. Tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge. The "all projects" page comes up blank in all browsers.

Here is the HAR file you requested.

@Rafal.Chlod

Any update on this problem? I sent you the .har file (see above)

Seems like maybe this team account is corrupt. I wonder if my only solution is to create a new team?
