HELP Please - Fusion 360 has lost my files

I spent about 5 hours yesterday doing some design work. Started up F360 today and about 80% of the new component design (sketches, bodies, joins) are gone!

Is there any hope of recovering these? What do I do?

At some point in last nights work there was a message like "unable to do something", blah, blah,  blah. Don't recall exactly if it was recovery or a file save issue.

And I did get a admin message about the maintenance work F360 was doing, at which point I logged out.

Hope someone has a solution.

I am assuming you saved you work last evening.  If you are using Windows operating system go to the indicated folder.  The first red arrow is your Windows log in name and the second is the latest folder that is being used by Fusion.  You may have more than one folder, chose the latest by date.  In the "F" folder you will see F3D files that begin with your file name but will have a lot of extra digits after it.  If you find the file, copy it to a folder of your choice, rename it preserving the F3D extension and then open it.  You may get lucky.

If you are using a MAC, I cannot help you as I do not know the equivalent folder structure.

Unfortunately the recovery attempt didn't work. The file opened okay, but the most recent changes were not there. I'm in the process of re-entering the lost work. Fortunately about 60% of the sketches were there, so I don't need to recreate it all from scratch.

Once again - F360 has lost my work. Right in the middle - after hours of work, all the edits I have made, to components, including joins are gone. No error message -just gone. I can click the undo button and get some of it back, but I've lost hours of work.

Is this a common thing for F360 to keep losing work?
