I've experimented with working on Solidworks files directly through the Desktop Connector but found issues with keeping files up to date. I've since stopped working this way.
More importantly though, I'll create a new project through the Fusion Team web interface. Even after refreshing all the drives, it still doesn't appear.
Am I missing something? Is there a way to force a refresh?

Hi @nicholas.almond,
thanks for posting! I can see that you are an Admin of one personal hub and two Team Hubs.
Could you make sure that the project you are creating on the web interface is in one of your Team Hubs and not the personal hub? Only Fusion Team is synchronized via Desktop Connector.
If this is not the issue, I would like to ask for the following information:
Thanks!
Best regards,
Morning Paweł,
Thanks for the response.
I'm currently posting to the Team hub named e**********ve.autodesk360.com.
I'm using version: 12.1.0.949
Diagnostic logs: Interestingly, when I try to open this I get an error message. Copy of the error below *
Pending actions: No pending actions
If you're able to access the above hub, there was a couple of projects recently created. In particular, there's one called "Archive" which was created on August 8th 2019 which hasn't synced. There's 6 projects shown on the Fusion Team web interface and only 4 shown through Desktop Connector.
Kind regards,
Nicholas

Hello @nicholas.almond,
thanks a lot for the logs! I asked a Desktop Connector specialist to have a look at them.
I have the following questions:
Thanks!
Best regards,
Hi @nicholas.almond,
I had your log files investigated and apart from one sync failure on the 3rd of October, the synchronization seems to have been performed with no issues.
Could you make sure that you are logged in to Autodesk Desktop Connector with an Autodesk Account of the Project Editor or Project Admin of the affected project?
Let me know if this helps. Thanks!
Best regards,
Hey Pawal,
Thanks for looking through the files!
I'm considering that the issue is client side. Generally, I'll use an alternative Windows explorer - Directory Opus: https://www.gpsoft.com.au/ Opening up the Fusion drive will hang for 5-10 seconds then load the directories. It's this program which seems to take a few days to update the directories.
On the other hand, Windows Explorer is a lot quicker and will sync the directories after a minute or two. Appreciate that they're different programs, but find it strange that there would be a difference. Perhaps Directory Opus is failing to upload and loading cached versions until it can update? I'm not sure.
To be honest, unless there's a direct fix for this, I can switch over to using Windows Explorer for Fusion Team syncing and close this out.
Thanks again for all your help, Pawal!
Hi @nicholas.almond,
thanks for the reply! I am checking with the development team to confirm if this may be related.
Are the projects you mentioned synced correctly when using the Standard Windows Explorer? If it is failing anyway, it will also be interesting to know:
Thanks!
Best regards,
Hi @nicholas.almond,
We heard from development, and We do not support any third party "explorers" as we are tightly integrated with Windows Explorer.
Are the projects you mentioned synced correctly when using the Standard Windows Explorer? If it is failing anyway, it will also be interesting to know:
Thanks!
Hey Pawal,
So to confirm, the projects appear to be syncing correctly using Windows Explorer and I'm able to add files through the web client. Based on Julia's response, I'll have to stick with Windows Explorer for transferring files.
Thanks for all your help on this - appreciate it.
Hey Julia,
Thanks for the reply.
I've confirmed to Pawal above that the projects do sync correctly through Windows Explorer and the web client. I'd (wrongly) assumed that any explorer would work correctly.
Thanks,
Nicholas
