Despite selecting exclusively parent components, a BOM cannot be exported to Excel or .csv without it including ALL child components.
I understand that this is the intended behavior, but now I am wondering why are components even selectable in the BOM panel? I see no use, other than providing an alternative to the browser for finding components.
Note: I do not have the Manage extension, there may be functions there that justify this.
