Will this Macbook run Fusion360 well?

As mother of a son who works with Fusion360, I have a question.

I want to buy the Apple MacBook Pro 13'' (2017) MPXR2N/A Silver with this specifications below.

Is it enough for my son to work with Fusion360 on ths laptop?

That somewhat depends on what you and your son are doing with Fusion 360. If you can share a screenshot of models you'd be working with that would likely help.

 

You already labeled the on-board Video card in red so I assume that you are aware that there are limitations.

For beginning steps in Fusion 360 that should be fine but for models with a lot of complex geometry this will be a problem.

 

One way to reduce the burden on the GPU is to turn off all the graphics gimmicks in Fusion 360.

 

Macs have a relatively high resale value compared to PC's. If you find that it runs out of steam, provided you've treaded it well,  you can sell it and upgrade to another used one.

I really appreciate it.
He only is 13 years old so I think the geometric models would not be that complicated.
The most important for him is to learn and to practice with the program.
So as I understand from you it will fitt for the first time...

Just Another question; if he works at home at an apple version form Fusion360 and at school at a windows version, will it be compatible?
