I have a fairly simple assembly, that I want to export to FBX file so I can import it into Unreal Engine and use it for visualization.
However, the "export as FBX" file has been going for several minutes and is only maybe 10% done.
Is this one of those "yeah, we paid for software, and have high-powered workstations on our desks, but you have to go through a single Pentium II server in Germany that is over-subscribed by all users of the software and we won't use any of the money you paid us to upgrade these services" situations?
Because if it is, that's not a good look.
Is there anything I can do to make this go faster? This is an absolutely unusable workflow as it is now. Is there some way to generate the 3D file locally? Is this some once-a-year service outage that's just not shown clearly to me, and it'll be nice and fast like any other 3D software tomorrow? Or is this just how you think it should work?
