Hi folks.
I've modelled a Vase using revolve and added a handle by sweeping along a spline. The problem I have, is the ends of the handle are protruding inside the vessel. How do I remove them please.
Thanks.
Andy.

You could use the inner curve from the revolve and use it as a Revolved Cut. Either edit the original sketch and add lines to create an inner profile or create a sketch and project the curve from the first sketch and form a closed inner profile.
Or select the surfaces on the inside and delete. If you select all of the surfaces and delete Fusion should heal the revolved surface.

Hi Mark.
Thanks for that.
I used your first idea, and revolved the inside surface as cut, this worked, though deleting the bits took some sorting, as even though they seemed to be now separate bodies, on delete the whole handle disappeared, cured it though by using 'remove' command instead, then did a circular pattern to add two more handles after first using shell to hollow them.
Not sure how you ended up with bodies left behind after the revolve cut. My thoughts were to create a profile for the inner faces to the centre line so deleting anything inside. Deleting split bodies catches quite a few people out, some confusion over Remove and Delete in that situation.

Hi Mark.
Maybe I didn't do exactly what you meant, but it worked anyway. I just revolved the inner line of the handle sketch so it just sliced through the protrusion, thus leaving the bits behind. If I'd have revolved the 'profile' as you'd said, that would probably have done it in one. I'll play with that later.
Thanks anyway, the job got done, and I'm still a learner yet.
Andy.
