I have been trying for roughly a week to use generative design studies to optimize a part for an academic project. Every time, the studies fail to converge retuning the error: "One or more geometry regions have separated because they are not load bearing." I am perplexed by this error, as every preserve region in my model has either large forces or important constraints. This is a fairly complex setup with 24 load cases, I'm not sure if that could be causing issues. Is there perhaps a way to see which body is separating so that I may diagnose the cause of this issue. Alternatively, does anyone have suggestions for what the problem might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello @Anonymous ,
Did you tried to run the previewer to see if you get a rough idea of the final shape?
Also can you please attach the model here? such that I can have a look.
Thanks!
If you check the massage being displyed, it generally contains the some details about what is the problem. That might help.
