When I try to create a new project, a message shows "ERROR_USAGE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED - Usage limits exceeded"

I just started a 3 year subscription last month.  Can someone help with this?

You probably are still using "Single User Storage" for your Fusion 360 data.  You need to create a Team as Single User Storage is limited.  The video will try and explain where to do this.  After you have created your team, you can use the method outlined in this webpage to transfer your data from Single User Storage to your new team.

I am having this exact issue, "Single User Storage" and not being able to save new projects.

Is anyone able to tell me why the Single User Storage is limited? It doesn't seem logical to need to create a "Team Hub", as a hobbyist I will be the only person to ever access these files.

I am also hesitant to create a "Team Hub" as at the moment I am on a paid subscription but as a hobbyist I may at some point need to fall back on the free license, will I still have access to all these files on my "Team Hub"?

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

The Single User Storage option is being eliminated so Autodesk is asking all to create a Team and transfer all their projects to it.  When you create a team, it is linked to your Autodesk ID and will follow you no matter what type of license you have.  There are different access and sharing options between a teams when using a Subscription and Personal licenses but that is about it.

I also encountered a project creation issue. We have a company subscription where I and 2 colleagues work. These are monthly subscriptions. I created a team that we've been working in for almost a year. Since March 25, 2024, my colleagues updated Fusion 360 and since then they have been unable to create new projects in the team, only I can do it alone. What could be the reason for this? (payment is up to date)

@tefner_krisztian Hello and welcome!

Are you seeing the same Usage error as in the original post?
