Thickening Surface

I have been trying to thicken this surface so that it can become a body, however everytime I do, fusion says to alter the geomtery, and I'm not sure how to alter the surface. This is for an assignment that is due in a day ๐Ÿ˜•

Hi @davebYYPCU, it's the rail around the seat cushions (isolated in the first image). It doesn't matter how thick, I tried as low as 0.03, which worked for some parts of the rail, but not all.

I canโ€™t get to Fusion Desktop for a couple of days yet.

How was the piping made?, Are you trying to Thicken a solid body?

Pipe or

hollow Sweeps will avoid Thicken Command altogether.

Might help....

The piping was made by sweeping a circle through a 3D sketched outline. At the moment the piping is still a hollow surface body, and I am trying to turn into a body so that it can be seen in my drawings. Thankyou for the tips, I will give them a go!!

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
