Thermal expansion

Hi guys,

I am fairly new to F360 simulation. I would like to simulate linear thermal expansion of a steel slab inside a furnace. Lets say Tin is 25C and Tf is 200C.

How do I setup this simulation? I would like to know the change in length at elevated temperature.

I would appreciate any help.

I did manage to run the simulation and got good result compared to analytical solution.

Can someone check if I did make a mistake? Image below shows the result (expansion as displacement) and other thumbnails show the loading I defined.
