Issue with faces appearance

Anonymous
Not applicable

Found a "bug" (or feature?) yesterday and half of a solution this morning.

Face appearance disapperas in detail viewFace appearance disapperas in detail viewI have a model with a face appearance (Steel - braided) added.

When making a drawing of this part the appearence is shown in the main view and projected views - but not in a detail view.

To solve it I went back to the model and assigned the appearance to the body instead of the face, and now it is shown in the detail view as well.

Seems to me that this is a (small) bug?

Hello @Anonymous,

thanks a lot for posting! I tested this behavior and was able to reproduce it. I logged it in with our development team already. Thanks a lot for bringing our attention to that!

Hi @Anonymous , @pawel.potyrala ,

While reconfirming this issue, it was found not reproducible with the latest fusion version 2.0.11183

For old drawings - the affected views get corrected (on any of the view calculation action like changing view style, toggle browser node etc)

&

new drawings do not show such issue at all.

This issue was tracked with internal bug number FDWG-10220 (for future reference).

Thanks & regards
