SVG Import

Having trouble importing svg file from CorelDraw. I've tried multiple different settings on export from Corel and Fusion360 is up-to-date. I'm working on an education license if that matters any. svg file is attached for reference.

I can import, size and get it located where I want but once I hit OK. Fusion360 locks up with the green "working/thinking" bar in the bottom right in a perpetual loop.

Hi,

rightclick > Fix/Unfix   > blue lines

günther

I have looked at the SVG again in 2 vector graphics applications and can see that it is unusable because of countless stairs.

You just have to be patient with large files.  I have attached a model with a sketch created from the SVG file.  As @g-andresen  mentions, if you want to unlock the sketch (green) go into the sketch and window it and then select the Fix/Unfix constraint icon.  Be prepared to be patient again as the sketch is very dense with a lot of data.

Thanks for your reply. I still have a lot to learn about the vector graphics process. Can you explain what "countless stairs" are?

Thanks for the help. I tried a few things, including trying other programs to create the svg. I found that Inkscape generated a file that worked better on import.

Still have a lot to learn about these vector files and how best to create them.

Attach your SVG file to your Forum post.  Let others take a look at it.
