STL Export Failure: One File Per Body (MAC OS)

Since the last couple updates, I've been having issues with STL export on Fusion 360 for Mac. I get the "translator failed" error, but only when I use the "one file per body" setting, if I export to one file, it works fine. It's the same whether I'm on my MacBook Pro (late 2013, SSD, 2Ghz i7, 8GB RAM, 1536MB Iris Pro) or Mac Pro (late 2013, 3.5 Ghz Xeon E5, 16GB RAM, Dual 3GB D500).

I've read the different solutions on the forum, cleared my cache, went to delete the application support files from the Library directory, but there is no Autodesk folder under my user (even with hidden files shown). Log files and screenshot of error messages attached.

I do a lot of multi-material 3D printing, it's a pain to export the bodies individually when a file has to be split into a large number of bodies to assign different material properties.

Hi @jmakowsky,

Thank you for posting in the forum and I am sorry to hear about the issue.

Could you share a public link to the design that you are having the issue with? I'd like to take a closer look at what is going on.

Hey Masa,

Here is the link: https://a360.co/2ITuXR7

Another thing I'll add is the one body per file export works fine on my colleague's PC.

Hi John,

Thank you for sharing the file with me! I tested with your design and "One file per body" worked on both Windows and Mac, and I assume something may have gone wrong on your computer.

Could you try cleanly uninstalling Fusion 360 and re-installing it to see if that makes a difference?

Also, if you download the file from the link below and upload it to your project, does export work?

Did the uninstall and reinstall and ran the export on the version from the Autodesk website and the App Store version, it worked on both. I'll monitor it and if it the error comes up again I'll update this thread.

Thank you, John
