Simulation model controls missing

Simulation model controls missing

I can't seem to find the controls to create or clone simulation models in the simplify workspace. I created a new simulation model a few days ago, by right clicking in the browser tree, but the option isn't there any more. Neither the right click menu nor the "create" drop down menu include these controls. Has it been moved somewhere else?

Can you post a screen capture similar to this?

Can you File>Export and then Attach a *.f3d file that exhibits this behavior?

Here's the right click menu. Its also missing from the "Create Menu"

This happens with all files. Most of the files I'm working with are imported from Solidworks, but its missing from all files.

Thanks,

Dylan

Hi @Anonymous,

Hmm, I'm not too sure why that might be. One quick thought, can you just verify that you are on the same version of Fusion as me and @TheCADWhisperer. If you go to the Help menu and select About, are you on 2.0.3803?

If yes, if you create a new blank model from scratch and try on that, does it work? I tested on your .f3d and I instantly see the option.

Thanks,

Hi James,

I'm on version 2.0.3803 as well. The problem is still there with a new blank model.

Thanks for the help,

Dylan

Hi @Anonymous,

Just to check are you on a Basic subscription (as opposed to Ultimate). I may have to do some digging into this, but I believe those three features may only be available for Ultimate users. Let me verify this however. It would be helpful to see a screenshot of what you see in that About menu if you can take a screenshot.

Thanks,

Hi James,

This is the about window.

I activated the subscription account a few days ago, the option had been there in the trial version.

The trial seemed to be working fine despite being expired since last year, but I didn't expect the paid subscription to reduce functionality compared to the free version.

Trial is full function.

You will need to upgrade to Ultimate.
