Simplify multiple copies, especially of sketch elements

In AutoCAD, if I want to make multiple copies of some sketch elements I can select the copy command, press M for multiple, select the origin point, and then start selecting the multiple points I want copies of those elements placed, boom its done.   That functionality is missing from Fusion 360.  It would be a huge productivity booster to have, particularly in sketch mode but also for copying bodies, components, etc.  

I say particularly in sketch mode because, at least when copying a body or component, the move/copy command at least remembers the settings from the previous use of the command.  In sketch mode you have to start over from scratch in terms of selecting what type of of move/copy and then selecting copy.  Granted using the Ctrl c/v does make it mildly easier but still having the complete multiple copy functionality from AutoCAD would be so much easier.

Because of the complexity of parametric sketch solving - there is almost always a better way than making multiple copies of sketch elements.  Exactly what is the "better way" is dependent on the Design Intent of each particular design.

Do it the "hard way", Attach your attempt here and someone will demonstrate the most computationally efficient technique in Fusion.

 

(BTW - I am also a CSWP and the same best practices for Fusion are also true for SolidWorks.  One thing Fusion is sorely missing though is Sketch Blocks.)

I would appreciate any advice you can provide.  I attached a project I am working on.  The sides of the cart are the main issue.  I made many rectangular holes using the tabs on the shelves and such and the combine command.  However, I want to be able to cut those rectangular holes with a CNC router so I want to put a relief for the router bit in every corner so that the rectangular tabs will fit in their respective slots.  Also, the combine command makes an excellent line on line cutout but I want to allow a small gap for tolerances discrepancies so I want to enlarge the rectangular holes by a few thousandths so the parts are more likely to actually fit together.   The last extrude and preceding sketch in the design tree are how I made that happen.  Please instruct me on an easier way to that.

Rather than sketch in the router bit reliefs for you rectangular tabs pockets, maybe you would consider a different style relief and add them to your machining process.  Selecting the corner points to drill or bore will not take as much time as sketching relief cuts.

I can see the the drilled corners as definitely being a solution for the corner at least.  Although, If I could do multiple copies of the sketch like I want to then I still think that might be faster.  That depends somewhat on the number of corners, etc.  But the drilled corners doesn't make the pockets any bigger to allow for some material and machine tolerance issues.  I am not particularly experienced at setting up the machining process can you also tell it to oversize the pocket hole a little?

I believe if you set the Stock to Leave to a negative number you can increase the pocket side cut.  This value is to all four sides so it would be a relative small amount.  The value I show in the dialog below is too large but I did it just to prove the cut in Simulation.
