Shortcuts not being saved

I am a new user to Fusion 360 and am working my way through some tutorials.  Right now I am creating some sketches from a plan I have imported as a canvas.

The tutorial shows that I can create a sketch on a plane and then use the "S" key to bring up shortcuts.  It is showing how to search for something like "arc" that is not on the shortcut menu (or the toolbar above), select it and click on the three dots, and then add it to the menu or toolbar so that the next time you want to use it you don't have to search for it.

I am able to add the tool to the shortcut menu and it persists and remains available during my design session, but If I save the file and come back to work on the drawing another day all of the shortcuts I have added to either the shortcut menu, or the main toolbar have been reset to just the few that are there by default.

Is this a limitation of the free version for hobbyist use,  or am I doing something wrong?

I am running on a W10 system and I have set the Focus360 shortcut to run as administrator..

Hi,

I'm having the same issue. Fresh install on a Windows 10 laptop, running the program as admin didn't help. Shortcuts are working fine on my older laptop that is running Windows 8.1 and the newest version of fusion.

I tried to find some patterns why it doesn't work, so I found that shortcut isn't saved when it has Shift + special symbol (such as dots, brackets etc.). It is interesting (ans self-consistent), cause if I want to set shortcut as "Shift+.", Fusion tells me, that it is "Shift+>". Remapping shotcuts to standart alphanumeric symbols helped me. Hope this will help you)
