Sheet metal fail - my part joins itself

Hello Everyone ! Today I tried the most basic exercise in the Sheet metal Environment : making a box.

When I create a flange that touches another part of my sheet metal body, it joins on it.

Of course, when i want to unfold the part, I can't.

Please help... F3d file attached.

You could change the type of flange (the flange that you're attaching the tab to) to 'TWO OFFSET' and enter some very small number like 0.01, But this sometime messes with the bend reliefs.

Or a quick and perhaps dirty method is to set the angle of the tab to 89.999 deg instead of 90. No a good idea if you need to ever take a parallel measurement from the tab.

My personal favourite is to do a small 'PUSH PULL' offset face on the end of the flange before adding the tab.offset face.PNG

Like @carl.j.barker indicated, just tweak one end of the supporting flange to make a ever slow slight gap in between the second flange and the side wall.  Take a look at the screencast.
