Shared public links fails with "Unauthorized Sorry. You don't have permission to access this page."

All public links to all my projects and drawings fail with the below message.  I have tried multiple browsers and tried generating links from inside Fusion desktop and from the web project browser (the links are identical).  I have waited for "propagation" for several hours with no change.  Same results on laptop and iPhone.

There are numerous forum queries on this but no definitive solves.

Do you have either a commercial or educational license?

Thanks @HughesTooling. To the extent that I understand it. I have a regular Teams commercial subscription (I am the only member of my team).

I also have file sharing enabled per the below.

I'm probably doing something wrong but I have gotten it to work reliably in the past.  And perhaps my beef here is that Fusion should not allow me to generate a link which it then denies access to without giving me some sort of warning.  It's embarrassing when sharing with clients.

OK, I just wanted to make sure you were not using a personal license which doesn't allow file share links.

@James.Youmatz Might be the best person to help.

Hey guys,

Thanks for tagging me. @chazz dumb question but does the public link populate when you are in incognito mode in a browser? My thought here is, in incognito you won't be signed into any account. If it works this way, but for some reason won't load when you're logged in, something is strange.

Do you have an example share link you can post so I can test if I can access?

Thanks @James.Youmatz, using the below link as a test, I get the same failure in Chrome Incognito and Safari Private.  Here's the sample link: https://a360.co/4dKkyH3 (which resolves to https://chazzhacking.autodesk360.com/shares/public/SH512d4QTec90decfa6ef1dd484a549ffa9a )

Yea I'm seeing the same with that link. Let me dig with the teams and see what might be happening.

hi @chazz - the anonymous account used for accessing the public shares was flagged as disabled in the hub.

I marked it as active - links should be all set now!

Thanks @Andy.Spivey. and sure enough, it works now!!  Could you explain that a little more broadly?  I don't understand the "anonymous account".  What account is that?

Sure @chazz - the account that controls the "anonymous" access for viewing the public share pages is the system / bot account.  You'll see it in teams as the account that sets up things like the Admin and Demo projects (System)

Thank you.  I had no idea.  I still wish it would give me a warning of the issue rather than just bonking on the link.  But thank you.

I am having the same problem. I read this thread and tried to fix it but I can't find the anonymous account in the hub. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
