Selection issue

How do I prevent the selection from selecting the two large circles and the 16 screw holes around the large circles? 

I don't understand what I did differently about those particular sketches that is causing them to be selected when they should be considered borders.

File > Export > Save to local folder. Return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply
