Often we would like to create DXF files of our assembly's cross-section. To do this we create a plane and sketch at the appropriate location. To produce the outline of the bodies we select the 'intersect' sketch feature. Here you can select either 'Specified Entities' or 'Bodies'. In some assemblies there are quite a number of bodies to be selected and can get cumbersome if you need to select each individual one. It would be useful to be able to select all the bodies via select window or freeform. Does a form of this exist? If not, can there be?

How often I wish for the Window select function when projecting or selecting intersecting bodies into a new sketch. Selecting from the screen is a slow and can create other issues. I have found that selecting the bodies from the Browser is the fastest method. I use the Windows selection keys, Shift and Ctrl, to control my selection. I only have three bodies in my demo model but any number will work.

Use Selection Set; Before going to sketch set Selection Filters to Bodies, with a window or freeform selection select all the bodies that you want, right click and select Create Selection Set. Now make your sketch, when you want to select bodies for Intersect command select them by the created Selection Set in the Browser. Here is a screencast how to do it.
