Save and upload problems since last patch

Hi all,

 

For some reason the last few days my Fusion started doing some very weird things (and to say that it is getting annoying is quite an understatement...).

 

Basically, certain designs can't be uploaded (hourglass forever). On the next occasion, i can still open the latest version as a recovery file, but then again, upload won't work. And I am constantly getting the message of a newer existing version in the bottom right corner.

 

Also, updating referenced designs inside one of the said assemblies was not working anymore.

So i got to the point when i just deleted this design, and started it all over. However, the mentioned messages still appear, and problems with updating references still occur.

 

Is there any way to purge all those never-finishing uploads in the job status window?

Do any of you experience this kind of awful behaviour lately? What could be the cause for this?

Hi @Roland.Kalamar,

 

Sorry to hear that you are facing problem saving and uploading the design?

 

Please can you check and follow each steps mentioned below, if you are still facing this problem:

 

  1. Try checking whether the update for Fusion 360 has been applied and you are using the latest version Fusion 360 build 2.0.8407. If not, try updating the Fusion by being online by clicking on the clock (Job Status) icon.
  2. Try running Fusion 360 by right-clicking on the Desktop shortcut and select the context menu "run as administrator".
  3.   Try following the solution mentioned in the article : Blue spinning circle on thumbnail and cannot open file in Fusion 360.

If you still face the problem then you can purge the upload queue by following the procedure mentioned in the article : [...] A newer version is available" when saving a file and pending uploads when exiting Fusion 360.
