Hello!
I've been trying to render an object with a decal on it (tried .jpg and .png) but the render doesn't seem to have the whole decal on it despite
my numerous attempts. Please help!
(the first image is the actual body in the render studio and the one on the right is the actual render)

Hi @Anonymous,
Thank you for posting!
I tested to render with a decal as shown in the attached image.
Since unfortunately I could not reproduce it in my testings, would you mind sharing a public link the design with me so that I may test the behavior on my machine?
Thank you.
Hello @Anonymous,
Thank you for sharing the public link in the private message.
I will look into your model and get back to you!
Thanks.
Hi,
have you found a solution to the problem so far? I have the same distortion with my model.
View with correct decals in Inventor Studio preview or Inventor standard view.
Rendered image from Inventor Studio.
Original files are from grabcad:
https://grabcad.com/library/shipping-container-20ft-40ft-40ft-hi-1
I applied the Images the same way on the top, even surface as on the side, rippled.
Edit part -> add new sketch -> add image in sketch -> set orientation and Mask in image properties -> end sketch -> link sketch and face using the decal function in 3D Model tab
Also I added different color settings in several views and switched between them (to select the right base color).
The part alone does render correctly, just the assembly does not.
Best Regards
