Rendering changing background color doesn't seem to work, it stays gray after the color is selected and apply OK is
checked, what am I doing wrong?

Looking at your screen capture, I notice the small rectangular box is not set to the color you selected. Try picking Apply after you set the color slider.

When you are logged into the forum, you will find the green Accept Solution button at the bottom of any of your forum messages of your topic. Glad it worked for you.
