I am trying to remove the bottom half of a single body. I used another body to create a cut in the body, but the tool body does not remove all of the waste material. The body is completely split in two. I am wondering is there any way to remove the part of the body that is not connected to the desired piece.
Any help would be great
Thanks.

Please attach your model so the Forum users can use it to try and answer your question. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

If the body is completely split in two, then there should be 2 bodies in the browser. Select the one you want to Remove, right click, and choose "Remove". This will have the effect I think you want - it will create a Remove Body feature in the timeline, and that body will be removed from the model.

As stated by @jeff_strater right click Remove...
In most cases you want to use Remove rather than Delete...
Tip: Right click everything - there is a lot of "hidden" functionality under right click.
"In most cases you want to use Remove rather than Delete..."
In the case of Split Body, you always want Remove, not Delete. The details are discussed here. But, the short version is: Delete of a Body produced by Split will have the exact opposite effect that you almost certainly want it to have - it will delete the Split Body feature, which will un-split the body. Try it (on a simple model...). It will confuse you completely until you read that longer thread...
