New Folder

Hi TF360 & FFellows,

I was in the process of creating the design's New Folder ... however, the process seemed to be interrupted in the middle ... resulting in an inactive/unresponsive New Folder entry on the design's project palette. Additionally, I can't delete this entry (as it is unresponsive) or create a new New Folder ... anywhere.

The failed New Folder always floats on the top of design palette window.

I can open existing designs ... which is great !!!

Any advice ... ?

Regards
MichaelT

Hi

This happens to me quite often

I have found in the first instance you can try navigating Home then back to the Project/Folder you were in and the "New Folder" will either no longer be present or will now be selectable.

The next method is to close and restart Fusion.

Either way is annoying, to me the Data panel is quite possibly the worst feature in Fusion its very slow and buggy.

Hi, Messrs Vinayak Dhame, A.LaasW8M6T,

Here is the corner of the FScreen. The red markers indicate inactive areas.

Go Home and Back did not work Mr. A.LaasW8M6T.

I will check with rebooting the system later on; I can't do it now due to some work in progress. I will definitely pursue the tip … and share the result.

Hi, Messrs Vinayak Dhame, A.LaasW8M6T, FFellows,

... excellent news ... rebooting the system fixed the problem ...

which perhaps was due to an unstable network connection, breaking process of New Folder creation.

Perhaps, some kind of the New Folder transaction envelope could alleviate the issue.
