Do you have history enabled?
If you have the timeline enabled, in the model workspace just select a single face and delete and fusion will auto heal and merge a faces coplanar with the face you deleted.
If you don't have the timeline switch to the patch workspace and there's an option to merge faces on the modify menu, set it to chain and it should merge all coplanar face in the body.
