Legal to sell 3d printed objects designed in fusion 360 student/startup version

Hello, I'm trying to find out if it is okay to sell a 3d printed part that I designed in the student version of fusion 360. Do I need to use the startup/hobbyist version? Or do I need to buy fusion 360?

Hi @Anonymous,

you'll need to use the hobbyist/startup license if you're planning on using Fusion for commercial designs. From the ToS for Fusion: "If you are a Student, You may use the service solely for purposes related to learning, training, research and development, excluding any use for commercial, professional or other for-profit purposes."

You can buy Fusion 360 or sign up as a startup/hobbybist for free. It's pretty similar to setting up your student license; you'll just need a different email.
