Reinstalling issues [Errno 13] C:\\ [...] \\uninstall.wsf

I'm trying to reinstall Fusion 360. When I tried uninstalling it through the control panel, it was giving me issues so I manually uninstalled. During manual uninstallation, a few folder wouldn't delete. I rebooted and everything in the folder is gone.

I downloaded the installer and tried installing but after 99%, I get the Errno message:

[Errno 13] Permission Denied: 'C:\\User\\username\\AppData\\Local\\Autodesk\\webdeploy\\meta\\uninstall.wsf'

When I open the log file location, it's empty. I can't send an email to support since the mail client is not properly installed.

All of the frequently encountered reinstallation errors in the troubleshooting page didn't have this issue, however, I did try some of the countermeasure for those other errors without any avail.

Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear that!  

Try these steps:

1. Uninstall Fusion with the uninstaller tool (link).
2. Turn off your anti-virus
3. Download the Fusion 360 installer here if you need to.
4. Right click and run the Fusion 360 installer as administrator.

You can turn your anti-virus back on once Fusion's reinstalled. Let me know if that doesn't work for you!

Thanks for the quick reply.

Turns out everything was hidden so I un-hid all files and folders and some of the files/folders from the manual delete were still there.

I continued with the manual delete, stopped running the few processes, and reinstalled.

It worked.
