Hi,

We are making 3d models of buildings with a drone and the program pix4d. when I¨m downloading the obj file and exporting it to the fusion 360 it's only a mesh. how can we import all the details from the model with colors and everything to the fusion360?

I'm Using the fusion 360 to for example model extensions on existing houses.

@post5AFBE  Can you please share one of these OBJ files?

Off course. Here is the .obj file.

It's a 3d model of an old school we want to buy

I just found out now that the .obj filetype needs the .mtl file to add the texture to the objekt. But I can't add that to the fusion360 or to this forum.

Is there a another filetype we can use in fusion360 that is showing all the details?

I'm trying to upload the file (67 Mb) but it will not upload. when I press post the file disappear. can only post text.

I'm sharing the file trough OneDrive with a link.

Thanks for the files. I sent the question to the mesh team and will wait to hear back. This is a good case study for this kind of thing, so the data is helpful. It's still not clear whether it's possible to do this in Fusion. Thanks for the suggestion/question.

There is not unfortunately. That kind of graphics is not supported for mesh bodies in Fusion at this time. Decals come close, but I can't imagine decal would work for this kind of structure.
