In Figure 20, the rectangular body was Inserted into Current Design. Figure 20 shows the body obtained by Combining the current design and inserted body. Then the combined body is moved. Fiogure 26 shows that the inserted body is duplicated when the combined body is moved. One is in the combined body and the other is at the position inserted.
I tried to remove the one at the inrserted position but it cannot be selected. Is there any way to remove it.
I will appreciate any help.

Please attach your model as it will be a lot easier to troubleshoot. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

The rectangular body cannot be moved as it cannot be selected, andwhen the combined body is moved it is duplicated.
I exported the model as an .stl file, and opened it by Meshmixer and 3D Builder. The orphaned rectangluar body is displayed by them,
Also Model Parameters for the imported bodies are lost.
You have both, a Component and a Body in this model. When you try and move them be sure to pay attention to the type of entity you are selecting. I do not see the duplication you spoke of. Parameters can not be imported into Fusion 360 from most import types.

I created a simple example showing the problem I mentioned. The file "ZTEst Rectangle v3.f3z" can be uploaded into your Fusion 360 workspace. It indicates that the orphaned cylinder can be moved if Move Object is set as Components, but not as Bodies. However, it cannot be deleted because it cannot be Selected. This assembly was exported as an STL file and checked by Meshmixer and 3D Builder. Then orphaned cylinder shows up as an object which we do not want.
When the cylinder is created in the workspace and not included from a Document, an orphan of the cylinder is not created.
I'm late to this topic, but curious. A couple of points:
Hi jeff.strater,
Thank you for your quick and thoughtful reply.

However, a bigger concern for me, looking at this design is this error on the Combine feature: It looks to me like the rectangle body, which is the target body for this Combine, has been deleted somehow.
*** my reply
I do not know how this error was introduced. I recreated a new Assembly (design) ZTest Rectangle 2 v1.f3z. This error does not occur in the new Assembly.
*** your response
If you are talking here about the cylinder in "ZTEST Disk", this is expected. This body is in an inserted component. That is why you are prevented from moving or deleting the body (you would have to edit the inserted component - either in place, or in a new tab) to perform either of those operations.
*** my reply
How can we delete orphaned bodies? In Browser, the body 1 of the top level component "Ztest Ractangle 2 v2" is thecombined object, and body 1 of the component "ZTEST Disk v1:1" is the orphaned object. I can select this object and click Delete, a Delete popup is displayed. However, Select does not respond.
Thanks for the updated design. Yes, the Combine error is gone in this one. This helps a lot in understanding your underlying question.
What you are seeing here is the expected behavior from an inserted design. You cannot delete bodies or move them when those bodies reside in an external component. This is also why there is no "keep tools" option for Combine if the tool body is in an external component. Those operations are "edits to the design", and must be done in the design itself. This can be done either as an in-place edit, or in a separate tab.
I was just about to post a video on my process, when @jeff_strater posted a reply. I do not want to copy his solution but I think it is the same. I had the video done so I am posting it anyway.
