I cannot open Fusion 360, can't unistall, restall

I cannot open fusion 360 now, it shows 4 warning windows "The program can's start because (Qt5Core_Ad_5.dill / Qt5Gui_Ad_5.dll / QtSolutions_MFCMigrationFramework_Ad_2.dll) is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".

I tried to unistall via control panel, it showed "could not find a unistaller to lunch"

I tried restall it via Fusion 360 Client Downloader, have the same problem as first!!!!!

what can I do now? I really need it to work!!!!!!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting! I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue!

Is this the first time that you are trying to launch Fusion 360 or has Fusion 360 been working fine and just now is throwing these errors? To help me troubleshoot the issue, could you send me your application and installation log files? We have created a great article, linked here, that describes how to go about collecting these files. They will allow me to take a deeper look at the processes that Fusion 360 is running through and allow me to hone in on the root cause of this issue.

I would just like to note that these files are located in hidden folders, which are turned off by default. For more information on how to turn on the visibility of hidden files and folders, see the articles we have created for computers running Windows and Mac operating systems.

In the meantime, one thing you could try is to perform a clean uninstallation of the software. Once the clean uninstallation has been performed, you should try to reinstall Fusion 360 from the link provided here.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Yes thanks, it has been working fine and unable to open two days ago. I manually delete all files including hidden files. After that I reinstall successfully.

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry to hear that this issue has popped up on you! It sounds like one of the files didn't update properly. The clean uninstall/reinstall appears to have worked for the other user on this thread. Good news though - our amazing development team just created an automated clean uninstall tool, so you don't have to go fishing through hidden files and folders anymore! You can download the tool for your operating system from the link here.

Once that finishes up, you can go ahead and reinstall Fusion 360 from the link here. I know it says that you will be installing a trial version, but once the client finishes downloading and you log into your Autodesk account, your entitlement should automatically update and you should have all the functionality you are used to.

If that doesn't do the trick, then I would need you to gather up your application and installation log files for me so I can take a look and see what's happening. The directories for locating those are provided here.

I hope that clean uninstall/reinstall fixes things up! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Cheers,
