I am unable to find the remove feature.

I am trying find the remove feature so I can delete a body without deleting other referenced bodies

right click on the body in the browser, it should be there.  Share the model and some images/videos for more info

You do not have Capture Design History (timeline) activated.  You are in Direct Modeling mode that is why you do not see the function Remove
