How to scale sketch with new version of F 360

In the older version of F 360, we could search and find Sketch Scale so we could add the measurement of one line, and the sketch would scale the rest of the sketch to that measurement. Now Scale won't let me do that. I have to input the percentage of what I want and guess how much percentage to scale instead of entering a simple number and going. Does anyone have a workaround or solution for this? I'm not sure what version I have. I just updated to whatever the cloud version is for today, 3/16/2024.

Hi,

1. Instead of scaling, you should add constraints and dimension your sketches precisely.
2. If you still want to scale, first measure an existing distance in the sketch.
Then enter the following factor: desired value/existing value.

There is / was a preference setting.

Scale all the sketch articles relative to the FIRST dimension, (never used it)

is / was nothing to do with Sketch > Scale.

Might help….

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you do a step by step. That would help me. Thank you

@jmatencio

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

From your description I think you are confusing a couple of different things.

The video made it completely understandable. I'm a visual learner and this nailed it. Thank you so much!

 @g-andresen explained it well in the video. The files I buy on ETSY normally change when I bring them into F 360. I have to resize them and make corrections and haven't been able to for a long time.

Thank you for the reply

Mike
