How to allocate more resource to Fusion 360

Hi there, this is my first post here. Been enjoying learning how to use Fusion 360.

I am on the topic of ContactSet. Although I understand that contact sets are compute heavy, I wish Fusion 360 can use more resources of my desktop computer.

Is there a way to allocate more ram and/or GPU to the software? Apart from setting priority to High in Task Manager -> Details -> Memory -> Set priority

Have searched the forums but no specific solution.

Thanks!

in short, no.  The contact set algorithm is inherently single-threaded, so it does not take advantage of all the CPU resources on your computer.  That is why we generally recommend not using them except in very simple cases.

Hi Jeff. Thanks for your reply. Alright, I'll limit usage of it.

Cheers
