Hole and Thread Note BUG.

Noticed if you use an ANSI drawing sheet set to mm the hole call out is in inches!

Also is there going to be an option to have the the tapping drill size rather than the minor diameter in the call out? The tapping drill info is in the XML thread files already.

Noticed the ISO sheet doesn't give any info on the actual hole diameter for threaded holes, is that just the ISO standard or is this going to be added?

Thanks Mark

Thanks again. All good catches.

  • The mixed display units result is a bug. It should be entirely mm or inch based on your settings.
  • The display of tap drill diameter is logged as an improvement for this command.
  • And regarding ISO hole callouts, I am having a hard time finding a reference source that is not another CAD program, and there's no way to tell how accurate those are. I've logged a bug, based on the fact it's not calling out any metric diameters in ISO, when for ASME inch callouts, it does show a diameter. (and most examples I can find of mm/ISO show it calling out diameter too)

I have the same problem. I set all unit in metric system, but hole and thread note still shows in inches.

I think the hole callout in ISO is optional.

reference is made to ISO 15786 section 5.7
