having issues with sizing when being saved as an stl for 3d printing

when i design a part and save it by the 3d print tab and save it as an stl file to my computer,  it doesnt save it in the proper size.  when importing it into lychee slicer it comes in about 8-10 times to small.  i tried uninstalling lycee and reinstalling it but it does the same thing.  so i know it has to be in the parameters when saving from fusion 360.  how do i check to make sure fusion is saving it at 100 percent from the design.

@gbir1670

This is almost certainly a Units issue.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

And please Attach your *.stl file too.

im sure its a units issue but i tried to reset the units in the preferences tab and that did not work.  i am currently trying to attach the stl file and f3d files but i am not that familiar with the forums and how to attach a file from my computer onto this forum.  does anyone have what the default settings are for the units.  im using inches here in the united states.

"i tried to reset the units in the preferences tab and that did not work"

That setting is unrelated to exporting STL.  It only sets the preference for what units are used in new documents created.

For STL export, use the Save as Mesh command:

This lets you choose the units for the STL:

i just tried it by saving it as a mesh and it is still doing the same thing.  what is messed up is a month ago it was working fine and i just got on for the first time in a month to design something and now everything i design and saving as an stl into my slicer is coming into the slicer 10 times to small.  i cant find any settings in lychee slicer where it may me importing it in the wrong size.

i just found the issue.  it has nothing to do with fusion.  the lychee slicer newest version is not compatible with standard units from fusion.  i can design the part with standard units but when i save it as an stl i have to save it in fusion in metric units as an stl and then lychee will import it at the proper size.

I had the same issue from fusion to leechy slicer, what worked for me is to select the object, left click, save as mesh, but I saved it in centimeters.
