Fusion 360 does not work anymore.

I opened Fusion 360 on my PC this morning to fix my submission for a school assignment. The window looked different, and when I clicked the 'Sign In' button, an error message appeared, saying:

"To sign into Fusion 360, you need the Microsoft WebView2 component which is missing from your computer."

- - - - - - - - -
It also provided a link to download the component. I used the recommended installer found on the webpage, but it said that WebView2 is already installed. I cannot find the problem on the Fusion 360 troubleshooting page, because of my suspected reason:

1. This update is brand new.
2. Due to the former reason, they have not found the bug causing this problem.

- - - - - - - - -

There is nothing about a false negative test for WebView2 on the troubleshoot page, which I believe makes this the most likely reason.

Until someone figures this out, I am S.O.L.

@201196539 Sorry about this experience. It's possible what WEbView2 is installed on your machine but an old version? 

1. Can you go into add/remove programs - uninstall Webview2
2. install the latest version 
3. Restart Fusion 360
