Grid lines are barely visible

Grid lines are barely visible

Hi there, I am fairly new to Fusion 360. I've done a lot of Revit in the past and recently I wanted to try out Fusion 360 for 3D printing.

However, there's this really annoying detail. The grid lines are almost invisible. I have another laptop where they are way more visible. The photo here might look like they are pretty clear but the lines on the actual Fusion 360 is less visible. 😞

Also, the boxes in the visibility tab have been checked.

I know I could just change the environment to dark sky or something else but I would like to fix this if possible. If anyone could provide a solution that would be very helpful. Thanks!

Just use Dimensions and the grid isn't really needed.

Can you Attach the file that you are working on at the moment?

(BTW - the image you attached looks fine to me?)

Hello @Anonymous

Thanks for bringing this up. Actually, most of the users don't prefer to use grids for fusion while sketching. We anchor our sketch with origin, draw the 2D shape roughly, then apply constrain and then put dimensions.

But, ya grids are so helpful to create various geometry. I'm also looking forward to the betterment of visibility.

Thanks again

Oh ok then. It's fine then. I thought the lines were less vivid, compared to the other laptop. Could be a monitor problem then.

I will learn more and get used to not using grids then 😛

Thanks anyways!

Good to know. I'm still a complete beginner in Fusion so I thought grids would help me place sketches precisely but I guess constraints and dimensions would work better.

Will learn more and get used to it then! Thanks!

Mine looks identical, and happened all of a sudden.  I am used to having my grid, and not a big fan of change once I know how to use a program, so how do I get them to show up again?  My graphics driver is up to date, I have checked all of the grid boxes that supposed to be, and still looks like this, or as of today, there are NO grid lines at all.  What's going on ?sample.JPG

I know this isn't in sketch mode, but even then, it looks just like this.
