Gears and Pinions - help needed please.

Not applicable

Hi Everyone,  My partner and I are working on the non commercial version of Fusion 360 with the hope of creating drawing for clocks and 1/4 scale engines.

For now I'm working on the Strutt Epicyclic Train Clock and need to create epicycloid gears. I've seen the app store and found a few free apps that create DXF gears, sadly of no use.

As I've only  used Fusion for about 3 weeks does anyone know of free apps of addons that creates this type of gear.

Thanks

Rachel.

Hello.

Thanks for posting. It is hard to get a complete library where you can find epicyclic gear assembly of different sizes. But, If you know the calculations, you can download from mcmaster and assemble them.

Thanks for such a quick reply, sadly these are of no use, they do not have cycloidal gears.
