Exported OBJ geometry shape

Good day! 
When we export file from fusion 360 in OBJ and check this geometry in any 3D program, for example in 3Ds max, we can see that shape is not enough smooth, this is particularly visible on a roundness (see attached image).
Can you explain how it is possible to control shape before export fo OBJ format?
I don't mean "BRep to mesh" modify, it doesn't give me a proper result (because of face normals etc), I am interested only in OBJ properties (Export - OBJ). To get more detailes OBJ file.

Thanks for posting!

I am not aware of any refinement option during export to the OBJ.
If this issue with jagged edge display is not related to shading tolerance or poor anti-aliasing - the workaround could be to use a STEP format, or STL with increased refinement settings:

Any .obj export from Fusion 360 will create a triangulated mesh. That mesh has a fixed resolution. What you see in 3DSmax when getting close enough is faceting and that has absolutely nothing to do with Antialiasing.

If a mesh with a higher resolution is needed then You need to save bodies, or components from within Fusion 360 to .stl and change the .stl refinement settings.

 

Again, both, .stl and .obj (and FBX) contain triangulated meshes. Usually polygon modelers do not import CAD geometry, meaning BRep and NURBS surfaces. That, however is what is contained in a STEP file.

 

Even CAD geometry can and often does appear tessellated because any 3D geometry has to be tessellated to be able to be displayed on a computer monitor.
