Fusion 360 Student License limitation capability

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I want to ask what are the limitations of feature for Fusion 360 student license? As far as I’m concern, importing custom title block is not available. Am I right? What are other features that are available in Fusion 360 normal license but aren’t available in student license? Thank you.

You can go to this website and read most of the features of each license type (scroll down to the chart).  If you are talking about importing an AutoCAD custom title block, it should not be a problem.

As long as the title block is not referenced (X REF), you can insert it as DWG into a template .

As you wanted to know more. I just want to add,

If you are not seeing Generative design in your fusion 360 then don't think it is just because of your student license. You can still have GD with an educational account with institutional email address (as a student).

There are no limitations for a student license- it is equivalent to a commercial license. In fact, you get more than a commercial license in some sense because you get unlimited access to Generative Design, Cloud Solves for simulation, and the Manufacturing Extension (if you are signed up with your EDU email).
