Edit-in-Place - Visiblity behaviour of 'Canvas'

If I edit a component of an assembly using 'edit-in-place' and during that session make the component canvas visible, when I end the 'edit-in-place' session the canvas remains visible in the asssembly.  Visibility cannot be toggled.  The only solution is to re-start 'edit-in-place', close the vibility of the canvas and leave the editing session again.

This may be linked to the fact that when in the assembly, the visibility of a component canvas cannot be toggled, unlike bodies and sketches.

yes, this is correct.  It is the same limitation.  Fusion expanded the list of objects that you can override visibility from a referencing design to include bodies, sketches, etc.  But, not all objects are supported.  Apparently Canvas is one of those.

Thank you @jeff_strater.  The whole concept of 'edit-in-place' has to be a complex software capability, so i am glad that this was not a 'bug'.
