yes, me too in trouble with the conversion into dxf from the sketches. I've just read about the "workaround" to convert splines to polylines... but I need to maintain spline because arc and circle must be "round" and not faceted.
Obliviously the DXF opened into F360 looks good, but in other CAD software aren't.
This is 1 of hundreds of components... and I need to send the DXF to a factory for laser cutting... I can't risk that something could be "skipped" for corrupted or incompatible reasons.
Any ideas?

You need to zip files the forum rejects. I suspect your problem is the splines in the DXF are a type you program can't read. I know Rhino and autocad can read them but not sure they can convert them without linearizing them or losing same accuracy.

Just tried opening your file in QCAD and some curves missing but not all the ones missing in your screenshot. Opened the file in Rhino and saved and now all curves are imported into QCad. Try the attached file and see if the Rhino export is any better.

Hi Mark, thanks for your time. I've tried to open your test... same result as my screenshot. But if opened into a proprietary SW of a small laser machine (for engraving), it's ok.
Now, what's the difference? Where is the problem? How it's possible to have the certainty of compatibility?
The DXF from the Google download only has degree 3 splines in it. Most programs should read those but I'm a bit puzzled how you created it as usually Fusion creates higher degree splines. Can you share the original f3d file from Fusion? Export as an f3d and attach, no need to zip first.
Is the dxf from a projection from a surface or just a plain sketch?

I've exported the component in F3D and attached. Hope is what you have asked.
I've stated from the sketch and in second time added some fillet and hole using other components.

I guess the DXF was created from the face of the part you uploaded, either projected or autoproject. There's nothing wrong with the DXF, the problem is with the programs you're trying to export to, have you reported the problem to them? You could try using DWG Trueview to save the DXF to an older version might be worth trying DraftSight as well.
