Draft Angle problems.

I have a stp file I need to add draft angles to, the problem is if you have a U shaped slot or boss draft fails. Here's a screencast with some examples. File's attached.

Hello again Mark!

I'm seeing some slightly different behavior over here on my machine.

The U-slots are failing to draft for me as well, however when I try to apply the draft to the box with the boss, the draft "works" but the inner portion of the fillet is removed (see image below).

We can get around this by re-filleting that edge, but it won't be exactly 2.5 mm as it originally was.

Regardless, I definitely think something unintended is occurring here, so I am going to go ahead and get started on logging a bug up for this. I'll circle back here once I finish that up!

Hey Mark,

Just finished logging this one up! This has been logged as FUS-32949 for your reference.

Unfortunately, I don't have a good workaround for the cylindrical component in your design - you may be able to trick Fusion into applying some drafts for the U slots in the cylindrical body by squaring off the bottom of the slot, applying the draft angle and then re-extruding the "U" part of the slot, but I haven't done too much testing to know how well that will work out.

Fusion normally does such a good job adding and changing draft even on filleted bodies I was quite surprised it failed on what looked a quite simple part. What I ended up doing was just creating a sketch and projecting in the arc and added angled line to give the draft then extrude cut.
