i try to create a  centre rectangle 40x40cm but i get 40 x random number fusion feels i need 

i thought that it was my keyboard playing up i uninstall keyboard put didnt fix it does the same thing with onscreen keyboard

You are probably running Windows 7 OS.  After the current update, this issue arose for all Windows 7 users.  You will need to dimension AFTER you create the sketch or during it, repeat the one dimension (last one).  Windows 7 is no longer supported by Fusion 360 according to their website.

Got absolutly the same problem last 2-3 days on Windows 10
As on above video, When you enter dimension from keyboard the input string is selected randomly,
so your next keypress on keyboard erase chars previously entered.
This may result on totally erase input on the moment when you press Enter (and gives unpredictable value )

or random loss of first chars entered and wrong value

This problem appeared few days ago... Never seen this problem before

We have a potential solution which will roll out soon. It's going through validation currently. This particular issue had been tricky to reproduce on our side. Hence it took some more time to fix.
