Rigid Joint fails when Slider Joint's Rest is turned off. Help?

I already received help about these drawer slides in the past couple of days, and now I have a new problem I can't figure out.

I initially made the Slider joints inside a DrawerSlide to have a "Rest" position - and with those Rests in the slider joints the drawer slides would nicely return to their closed position, and the rigid joints between the slides and the drawers would bring the drawer itself closed along with them. It was a lot of time and effort for me to do that, and I got help here in the forum. (Thanks guys!)

I have just discovered that in the Animation workspace you can't actually USE any of your joints, so I have to show the guy some plain old screen capture pictures of the 'open-drawer' state.

[The whole point of making the slides work in the design was to show the guy an animation of what I want to build for him. Wow I wasted SO MANY HOURS on that, then.]

Anyway, I now need to make the drawers open and stay open to take screen captures of them while open.

So, I figured I would "simply turn off the Rest settings on DrawerSlide1", and bob's yer uncle. I was so WRONG.

When I un-check the tickbox for the Rest setting in both of the Slider joints that control DrawerSlide1's sliding behaviour, the DrawerBoxes themselves move backward by 305mm! Then if I try to use Align to move the drawer boxes back to where they aught to be, the operation throws errors.

Please help?

Attached are a screencast and the file.

Last time I saw this file, the drawers were open,

Edit the Rest position to an open dimension, or forget about the rest position all together and slide open the drawer - click drag or Drive Joint, capture it's new position,

Take before and after shots by moving the timeline marker.

Might help....
