Design Academy video question

In the following Design Academy video, at timestamp 2:32:

The instructor drags the lower line around changing the shape of the rectangle.  He does not say how that is accomplished.  Some unknown mouse click?  How is that accomplished?  TIA.

never mind, I was trying to do the same in a defined model.  When I used his you just click and hold the right mouse key.  How embarrassing.
